CSG officers take oath of office

“Leadership is action, not position,” said Pearl Alexis Abucejo, the Cherian Student Government president, in her speech during the acquaintance party and induction of officers on August 9-10, 2019.                 

                  Hon. Guilberto Enriquez, barangay captain of Upper Doongan, inducted the newly elected CSG Officers into office, while the different officers from various clubs were inducted by the school administrators, Mrs. Flora L. Aurea, Mrs. Nelly L. Pena and Ms. Jinky G. Resabal.

                  Together with the CSG President, the following core officers took their oath of office: Dax E. Sendrijas, Vice President – High school and Alexa Dennisse M. Canoy, Vice President Grade school; Allyssa Gabrielle M. Canoy, Secretary; Sam B. Dy, Treasurer; Tricia Nicole C. Ga, Auditor; Elizabeth S. Fernandez, PIO High School and Vince Alex Tyron M. Mollanida , PIO Grade school.

The senators from the secondary level were also inducted. They are the following: Lestle C. Ga, Grade 7; Aicelle Pateres, Grade 8; Audrey Zarina R. Faberes, Grade 9; and Augustine Joshua L. Frogozo, Grade 10.

The representatives from each grade level also took oath. The House of Representatives are composed of the following: Lee John Diamond M. Piencenaves, Grade 2; Alfonso Rafael G. Causon, Grade 3; Trish Aeon C. Tampil, Grade 4; Xhahara Maxine D. Gomez, Grade 5; and Frances Keisha Estrella, Grade 6.

Games and a talent show followed right after the induction program. Cherians indulged in games prepared by their advisers.  Each grade level also showed what they’ve got in “Cherians Got Talent”. Students unleashed their talents in acting, dancing , and singing as they performed their contest pieces. Dinner and disco followed.

The masters of ceremonies were Vince Alex Tyron Mollanida for the grade school  and Audrey Zarina R. Faberes  for high school.

The said event was hosted by the SSG officers with the guidance of the CSG advisers, Teacher Krishna Aurea Budias and Mar Louie Robles.
